Do I need Planning Permission?

Not all projects will require full planning permission, some building work can be carried out under what is called ‘Permitted Development’. If in doubt Contact Us about whether or not you need Planning Permission for your project. Even if your project does not require Planning Permission, it may still require a Building Control application.

Do you cover my area?

I am based in Chichester, West Sussex and generally cover areas within one hour travelling time.

Do you need to visit my property?

Yes, definitely. We would need to carry out a full measured survey and assess the local environment, along with access, etc. We would also need to have a detailed discussion with yourself regarding your requirements for the project

How much will your services cost?

As all projects vary in size and detail, the costs would obviously vary accordingly. For example, a straightforward, single storey rear extension (6 metre x 3 metre with flat roof) can cost from as little as £630. This would include floor plans, elevations, location and block plans, building regulations requirements, all local authority submissions and a full measured survey. This is a fixed price with no VAT to be added. However, costs can vary and this depends on the size and detail of the project.

What is not included?

Additional costs would be local authority fees (payable directly to the local authority), build over agreements, time & labour schedules, party wall agreements and any structural engineer calculations, if required.
